Description and Basic Information ::
|
| This little gem of an intimate recital hall is part of the massive Toronto Arts Centre entertainment and stage complex. Formerly known as the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts, this theater was home to Livent Inc., the now defunct live theater company. However, at least the 2,000-seat theater and concert halls remain. The Weston recital hall is the perfect spot to listen to classical artists, concert pianists and orchestral offerings. Seating is limited, so when you notice a concert that interests you, book it immediately. Note: this is one of the few theaters that is not in the downtown core. It is about a 30-minute drive (much longer in rush hour) on Yonge Street, north of Highway 401. |
