Pay one price (includes all regular shows (except Kingswood Music Theatre), rides, and waterpark. Children under 2 get in free. (There’s paid parking at the Park).
Encompassing 330 acres with more than 200 attractions, Paramount Canada’s Wonderland is Canada’s premiere theme park. The Park is divided into eight themed areas, with every type of roller coaster and thrill ride imaginable, including Hanna Barbera Land, which is suited for younger children. The Park averages roughly three million guests per year.
The Park is operated by Paramount Parks, a unit of Viacom Inc., one of the largest theme park companies in the world. The operations of Viacom include Blockbuster Video & Music, MTV Networks, Paramount Parks, Paramount Pictures, Paramount TV, Showtime Networks, television stations and movie theaters in 12 countries. Canada’s Wonderland allures visitors with live music, dance shows and other entertainment, in addition to rides galore.
Special events are planned throughout the season, such as the Extreme Sport Presentation, the Magic School Bus Live Show, Pokemon Games for kids and a Soap Opera Festival that includes popular soap stars. Canada Day and Victoria Day Fireworks celebrations occur annually. The International Showplace has paid tribute to such world-renown entertainers as the Backstreet Boys, The Broadway Cast of BeatleMania, Chinese Acrobats, Legends Live and the Circus of Thrills.
Kingswood Music Theatre is an outdoor venue where popular entertainers perform live in the evenings throughout the summer. There is a separate charge for these shows. Program information and tickets can be purchased from TicketTime Inc. at 144 Front Street West or by calling 1-888-621-2220.
Paramount Canada’s Wonderland offers various fast food establishments throughout the Park or you can bring your own picnic lunch. The Park is best suited for older children and teenagers.
Take Highway 400 from Highway 401 and exit at Rutherford Road if traveling north of Major Mackenzie if traveling south. Follow the Park signs. Hours; Oct 8-May 7 weekends 10am-8pm, May 19-Sept 4 daily 10am-10pm |
